Michael Vick named Eagles’ starter


Michael Vick is officially the starting Quarterback for the Eagles after the strong performances he has had in the last few games.

He got his chance when former starter Kevin Kolb suffered a concussion in game 1 against the Packers.

In which Vick brought the Eagles back into the game and almost won the game for them. He was the starter going into week 2 with Kolb still hurt and Vick getting the win against the Lions.

According to Eagles Coach Andy Reid, “Vick is playing out of his mind which is a good thing!” and also said that Vick was a better match up against the Jaguars in this Sunday.

Vick’s last started as a starting quarterback on December 31, 2006 in a game against the Eagles as a memeber of the Falcons.
