One game will decided the NCAA Championship

As both games are now official in the NCAA final four tournament, we know who will play for the championship that every team strives achieve.

Number 8 seed Butler defeated the Number 11 seeded VCU 70-62 in their final four match up lead by Shelvin Mack, who scored eight of his 24 points in the last 90 seconds of 2nd half.

Despite the great run that VCU had during the tournament, it was not enough to get by Butler who is returning to the championship game again for the second straight season which is the first time since 2007.

Number 3 seed UConn wins a tough one against the Number 4 seeded Kentucky team 56-55.

UConn and Kentucky seemed to go bucket for bucket during the second half after UConn was dominating the first half with a 10 point lead heading into half time at 31-21.

Kentucky held Kemba Walker to 18 points which was lower than his NCAA tournament average of 26 points per game.

Kentucky still did not have enough to knock off UConn as they now have won their last 10 games in a row, including the five games in five nights they played to win the Big East tournament title.

UConn and Butler will meet Monday to find out who will be this season’s NCAA tournament champion.

Despite who wins this game, the winner will have reached their dream and done something many people thought neither team would be able to do, which is to play in the finals and win the NCAA title.
