The Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors may have just played the best game nobody won.
That can be said as word began to spread around Staples Center that Lakers guard Kobe Bryant may be done for the season due to a torn Achilles, he suffered during the win over the Warriors, 118-116, on April 12th.
Bryant did not appear to be in good spirits following the must needed win.
The game did end with a impressive performance from Bryant, who scored 34 points with five rebounds and four assists. Warriors guard Stephen Curry responded with 47 total points and nine assists.
Bryant was unable to finish the game and his status for the remainder of the season will be determined after the results of an MRI.
With or without Bryant, the Lakers will continue to fight their way into the playoffs and hold on to the 8th seed when the team plays the San Antonio Spurs on April 14th.
