Josh Beckett pitched a no-hitter (128 pitches, 6 K, 3 BB) in the Dodgers shutout victory over the Phillies.
It was Beckett’s 1st career no-hitter and is the Dodgers first no-hitter since Hideo Nomo on Sept. 17, 1996 against the Rockies.
Beckett pitched the 21st no-hitter in Dodgers history, and the 11th since the team moved to Los Angeles in 1958.
Phillies did not get a hit for the first time in a game since April 16, 1978 when the team played the Cardinals.
