Clayton Kershaw, Dodgers extend winning streak in victory over Braves

The Los Angeles Dodgers left handed pitcher Clayton Kershaw registered his fifth complete games this season in a win over the Braves, 2-1, on July 31. Kershaw had nine strikeouts in the victory.

The win was also Kershaw’s 10th straight decision, tying his career best. He improves to 13-2 this season with a 1.71 ERA.

The Dodgers’ victory also extends the team winning streak to six games.

Yasiel Puig scored a home run in the third inning for the Dodgers. Puig was also brought in for a scoring run when Adrian Gonzalez doubled to deep right center in the first inning.
