Celtics and Clippers continue to work a trade to fit NBA’s approval

By James Williams

The Los Angeles Clippers may try to make a deal with the Boston Celtics for coach Doc Rivers.

The Clippers may make an attempt for Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce in a later trade, likely after July 1st.

This is said to be happening to create some “time” inbetween a recently discussed trade.

It was previously reported that the Clippers were trying to acquire both Garnett and Rivers for at least one first-round pick and center DeAndre Jordan.

Earlier today word began to spread that the NBA would not approve of this deal.

NBA commissioner David Stern also hinted on several radio interviews on June 20th that the league would not be too fond of the trade.
