The day has finally come in which one of the most popular wrestlers in the world of professional wrestling, “The Macho Man” Randy Savage, is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
The WW E sent out an alert through the WWE Network phone app to inform fans of the WWE that an announcement of Savage’s induction, as the first member of the 2015 Hall of Fame class, was going to be made on the company’s flagship show, Monday Night RAW.
The announcement has been a long time coming for many WWE fans that believed he should of been inducted years prior to his death in 2011.
While there have been several rumors as to why the moment took so long to take place,
the Macho Man has always been remembered for his color outfits and personality.
Savage plays a key role in the popularity of professional wrestling during the 1980s and 1990s. He was also one of a select few to be considered a household name among the likes of Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant.
Among the things that set Savage apart from many of his peers was his unique voice when coupled with his mannerisms during many of his interviews that are watched by many to this day.
To people who were not fans of wrestling, Savage may be remembered as the man from the Slim Jim ccommercialsthat often featured the phrase “Snap into a Slim Jim!.”
While that was just one of his many trademarked phrases, his most popular saying had to be the simple “Ohhhh Yeahhhh!!!” he would utter at any given moment.
